Our Story

our story

Rooted in Newport, grown by community

Down to Earth Space began with a simple idea: everyone deserves a calm, welcoming place to move, learn and belong — without a big price tag or a membership gate.

Why we’re here

Somewhere gentle to land

Newport is a wonderful place to live, but a genuinely open, unhurried space to gather is harder to find. We opened our doors to fill that gap — a room for yoga and gentle movement, for men’s circles and kids’ craft, for quiet mornings and busy market days.

Nothing here is about pushing hard or keeping up. It’s about coming as you are, breathing out, and finding your people.

From the founder

“I wanted a place where anyone could walk in, breathe out, and feel they belong — no membership, no judgement, just welcome.”— Ina, founder & host

Come and see for yourself

The best way to understand the space is to be in it. Join a class, or just drop by and say hello.
