Description

Discover the ancient art of crafting natural incense using aromatic herbs, sacred resins like Rose/ Jasmin/ Frankincense/ Myrrh/Copal/ Gua Gum, ancient woods like 400yr old Sandalwood & Makko Powder and other botanicals.

Across cultures, from Traditional Chinese Medicine to Ayurveda and ancient Egyptian traditions, aromatic plants have been used in wellness practices, including relaxation, respiratory rituals and supporting emotional balance. Incense has served purposes beyond prayer and ceremony, becoming part of daily rituals for wellbeing, meditation and creating sacred spaces.

Did you know? Your sense of smell has a direct connection to the brain’s limbic system, which plays an important role in emotion and memory. This is one reason certain aromas can evoke powerful memories, influence mood and help create a sense of calm.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the art, history and sensory experience of incense making while creating your own botanical incense to take home. Connect with ancient traditions, awaken your creativity and discover how scent can become a meaningful part of your personal rituals.

Workshop presented by Vanessa Yana Kuntur, shamanic practitioner Intuitive Native Herbalist’s and sound healer of nine years.
